Ending AP with Applause and that A-r-t-p-o-p was one of the best decisions in the whole era. It doesn't even feel like a last track but more like an epilogue of some sort. Like after Gypsy, which would be a marvelous closure on it's own, she goes 'oh you want more? well here it is, hoes' and ends it with an euphoric bang that is App.

That is why I would say it's a tie between TEOG and A.



Overall, I prefer Applause, thoux.

The tour setlist really depends on the theme of the album.
From The Fame, drop everything from TF but PF, let Gaga make the audience thirst for it.
From The Fame Monster, drop Telephone (she's tired of that song ) and keep BR and Alejandro and add Monster since the album is #Monster4Life so it kinda fit
From BTW, just keep Born This Way but this time with the studio version and make TEOG the piano one with Y&I, drop Judas and find away to make MTN ha comeback
From ARTPOP, keep Applause, Venus, and Gypsy (seems unlikely), Dope will always be there for the piano segment.

She basically has an obligation to do the biggest hit from each era, so that would be Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born This Way, and Applause. I also don't see her ever dropping Just Dance since it was her breakout hit. She loves Paparazzi and Alejandro, so I don't see her dropping those either. That's only at least seven extra tracks to perform each night on top of the material from the new album, and especially considering at least a few of them will more than likely be shortened, I don't foresee this being too big a problem for her.
