So many people are talking about the next single, let me join:
The next single should be either WILDEST DREAMS or NEW ROMANTICS, I'm here for NEW ROMANTICS.
Edit: WILDEST DREAMS is a very beautiful song which I like, but for chart performances, I don't see much potential, I mean from Taylor Swift's level, a song does NOT reach top 2 on Hot 100 chart
Edit2: On the other hand, NEW ROMANTICS has the potential of becoming the next Hot 100 number one, for the bonus tracks, it's kind of the LEAD single.
Edit3: I prefer these 2 songs as the next single, from album sales perspective, not anything else. WILDEST DREAMS provides some fresh air (Edit6: Comparing with 4 singles, WD is definitely very different), NEW ROMANTICS will boost deluxe sales for sure.
Edit4: I don't think Taylor and her team care about Hot 100 number one as much as us (Edit5: Their promotions, or non promotions? is a good example), 3 number one is just side project (which is more impressive). Most importantly, they all boost the album sales significantly.
Edit7: Why I personally choose NEW ROMANTICS? Because, WILDEST DREAMS can wait, NEW ROMANTICS can NOT.
Edit8: WILDEST DREAMS is always special, showing the other side of the album, it's OK to be released later. I personally choose it as the last single to give album sales the final boost.
Edit9: As the LEAD single (Please kindly allow me use this name) of bonus tracks, even though many hardcore fans already love it, but for GP, many people don't even know it exists, so it will be better released before it LEAKS
Edit10: I'm not here for a tour video treatment to NEW ROMANTICS. First: WONDERLAND (It's the best one for it, both musically and lyrically, but sadly it's been paid dust) or OUT OF THE WOODS deserve a tour video much more. Second: Never waste a LEAD single which deserves a epic MV like SIO, BS and BB.
