Salt-N-Pepa won Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.

Left Eye won 4 R&B Grammys.

Lil Kim won for "Lady Marmalade" in Pop Collaboration.

Queen Latifah won Best Rap Solo Performance over 4 males.

Lauryn Hill has two Grammys with the Fugees and was the first female to win five awards in one night.

Missy is the only one who won Best Female Rap Solo Performance (twice). Take away those wins and she still has two Grammys - one for Best Rap Solo Performance, which she won against four males, and Best Short Form Music Video.

I miss the days when Nelly was the biggest rapper in America.

He has more memorable "pop hits" than Hov. (I can only really think of 5 songs by JAY Z that mainstream america knows).

I didn't say that I think she won't win a Grammy one day. Just considering her massive popularity, she can't even compete with the males in the field. If they were ever to bring back Best Female Rap, then she would have a strong chance. But they are never bringing back the category.
