I don't get it, she used to be so on point 
But then, MKIA being a lead single, Dark Side being released instead of all the other options, HBS being her comeback song and now PBP / TYH being her next options
I'm fine with Invincible as the second single, but the next single should clearly be Nostalgic and then the final one needs to be RRR. Nothing else on the album will not flop

Dark Side < You Cant Win
Heartbeat Song was the WORST song they could've chosen for the lead, but honestly, there isn't really a strong lead on PXP.
Run Run Run NEEDS to be released for awards season, an AMA performance would be good, but I really am hoping for a Grammy performance somehow  I also am really hoping that if RRR does get an award show performance, she slims down so she can wear a nice dress and sing while laying on the piano, at least something sultry

Nostalgic is a career saving song atm and it needs to be the next single. If she releases another ballad, she will permanently cross over to (H)AC and she will have trouble making her way back to pop. She needs a third single that can enter the pop top 15, which HBS didn't and Invincible won't do. If she has 3 consecutive songs carried exclusively by the AC formats, she'll become one of those artists that can only serve ballads and watered down midtempos

I didn't even remember there was a song called Walk Away on the album

I think this is all true, as much as I love Nostalgic, and think it is the best single choice at this point, I just don't see it smashing for Kells 
She is the queen of AC/HAC, so I guess KC stans will have that to cling too from now on

BTHE and SUBG are my Top 2 Kelly songs of all time, and Breakaway fills the Breakaway trinity for me. Addicted, BOY, Walk Away and You Found Me are the other songs I use on the album 
Wrapped in Red > AIEW > Stronger = PXP > Breakaway > Thankful = My December

Have you not listened to Wrapped in Slay? I expect you too this Christmas 
I only use Just Missed the Train, Thankful and occasionally The Trouble With Love Is from K1. From My December I really only use Sober, Never Againa and Be Still, I HATE the production on that album, too many minor keys and it just sounds so dated now. Breakaway still sounds fresh tho

AIEW is, in my opinion, her most pop record and I just don't use pure pop that much.
Never Again will always be my all time favorite Kelly song. If I had last.fm when it came out, it would have 2k plays by now. I just live for that song, minus the green finger line, but whatever.
I LOVE The Trouble With Love Is, I didn't even know it was on Thankful I might check the album out, just to officially rank it last

But AIEW has the title track and Don't Let Me Stop You! 
Never Again is SO underrated. Her vigor is just  The live versions slay, the ones from the 2 voices 1 world tour have F#5s straight from the gates of heaven and the 2012 piano version is hantingly beautiful. NA and Sober are the two best songs from her songwriting discography.
Thankful isnt a great album ngl. It's okay.
I hate seasonal music too, but WIR gives me life. It's a phenomenal record, mostly because there's not a lot of original stuff on there and Kelly does the best covers of anyone in the business

I'm not really a fan of Kelly Clarkson, or any pop-rock for that matter (somehow Taylor her pop-rock songs are different). But I do remember being younger and living in the Breakaway days when she was completely unstoppable.
