I hear the influences of Drake, Beyonce, even a chorus that sounds like azealia, biggie, kim, missy and even a song that uses a paula adbul production.

I can't objectively place it anywhere near the two true female rapper classics (Hard core by lil kim and the miseducations of lauryn hill by L boogie)...in 2012, I wanted TPP to complete the trinity but erm...

Plenty of artists release that kind of music and don't go 5M in US. and multiple #1s.

I think her music is just more universal.
She's not going to talk about clapping butts as she doesn't have one and won't enhance her backside to expose insecurity.

She's not going to alienate her fanbase by going too sexy even though she could.

Her market is broader than stunts or gimmicks and I can appreciate her for that.

Yeah it was shady but Britney didn't want to perform and either way it showed her many iconic looks and videos.

the other girls don't have that. A performance in 2011 from Britney would have taken away from that...it was a win win

No. Never. The point of pop is to be a universal translator for any style or genre. But GOOD pop pushes things forward, introduces new elements wrapped in an impossible-to-replicate (though many will try) package of catchiness and supreme enjoyability. Only "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space" come close to doing this on 1989. Nothing on Hard Candy really does it.
