She professed early on that it was a hip hop classic and she was trying to ensure that it will be that.
She claimed it was going to be important to hip hop...not just females but no credible critic is even remotely claiming it to be a hip hop classic.
there are some legit barbz that have admitted to liking only half the album.
I hear the influences of Drake, Beyonce, even a chorus that sounds like azealia, biggie, kim, missy and even a song that uses a paula adbul production.
I can't objectively place it anywhere near the two true female rapper classics (Hard core by lil kim and the miseducations of lauryn hill by L boogie)...in 2012, I wanted TPP to complete the trinity but erm...
TPP ain't it...
Not sure any female rapper can make that possible if she can't...
