I can't with the ugly hairdo's. Season 3 All girls were on point.

So many damn kiis delivered. I loved the comedic undertones this show provided. Season 3 was hands down the best imo. I really am disappointed we couldn't see what Prue's power could finally become. Astral Projecting while having her actual body not being unconscious. Using telekinesis in her astral mode. And who knows what else. She probably could've had developed her psychokinesis more as well to like on the pilot when she moved cream into her coffee. And then being able to destroy things with a flick of the wrist.

What's really lacking in the later seasons is having a sister that's down for "the greater good" and being sisters who happen to be witches. Season 3 having an overall arc for the majority of the season was what made the season great. Season 4 held it's own and I thought how they wrote in a sister was pretty seamless but then Season 5-8 were just a let down. I mean bringing in a "magic school" a la Harry Potter. The Avatars. The random fairy tale episodes. Billie and Christie. Ugh. I don't want to finish Season 3 on Netflix yet just because of the season finale. And also don't get me started on how every season ended with the front door to the manor closing but Chris' birth done ****ed that up.

Downloaded all seasons and watching the 1st one. I've watched all seasons at least 10 times.

Seems like everyone is into this again! I used to watch on and off as a kid (mess i didn't even know about the season structure back then) and was my fave - Phoebe still my favourite sista.

I saw it on Netflix and got right back into it and bought the entire box-set. Finally watching in order and up to S3! <3

Ugh, that's what I still secretly wish for
but after Prue left everyone's powers barely progressed and I know if Shannon was still around all of their powers would've grown.

I've been binge watching this on Netflix now on season 8 and wow what a downgrade in quality plot wise. It's like they weren't even trying.

That's because "the ultimate power" was brought in to be a spin off but the FLOPW (CW) dropped it for Supernatural instead but what they should've did was keep Charmed seeing as though it's amount of viewers in S8 >>>> Supernatural and alot of CW shows

The writers did a good job with Paige's character. Exploring the new dynamic of the Charmed Ones, competing with Prue, etc. They really went wrong with Phoebe and Leo.

And Paige has had several jobs.
Season 4: South Bay Social Services assistant
Season 5: Social Worker promotion but quit job to dedicate herself to witchcraft.
Season 6: Temp jobs (always had a magical connection)
Season 7: Headmistress of Magic School
Season 8: Embraced inner whitelighter/assigned many charges.

Paige had the most noble and selfless jobs that helped all sorts of people, from being a social worker before ha witchy days to being a teacher of the new generation of magic.
Piper got people drunk and Pheobe told people who to sleep with.

The girls desperately wanting to live normal lives and turn their backs on magic
The whole Billie and Christy thing. Mess @ them being the ultimate power
The Source ha 1.5 minute cameo in that one episode
The fact that there wasn't one decent episode until the finale.

It was suppose to be a great season especially showcasing their growth in powers but with all the budget cuts and hiring the new gorls it must've put a dent on the financial support the show got from the network. They couldn't afford the theme song, they killed off Leo, Phoebe literally only using her power of premonition in season 8. Just terrible. I really wanted to see them progress with the special effects and cool stunts but it was just so poorly executed. A shame. It's the only season where I find it truly hard to re-watch any episodes and it doesn't make sense because it's the last.
