Rebel Hearts is the best song I think I love that Confetti uses Kerli's Running as an instrumental maybe it was a demo for this. My kind is amazing and I love the second half of the album too.
I love the lyric "our edges seemed to fit so perfectly" in Stay in Love and idk why. That is the lyric that has stuck to me the most (from the entire album) in the last few listens.

I love Night Like This, the concept of the song is interesting and I love how their voices just mesh well together, the only thing I don't like is that it's the album closer, it feels right that it's the album closer BUT I feel like the album could have ended on a better note.

Most of the songs sound the same to me, I don't know. Sparks is the only song that I really, really like. I also like the title track. The introes to Brave Heart and Picture Me are too much alike for me tbh. There was way too many songs that I wanted to skip.
I give it a 4/10. It's a good try tho. Sparks is really good, I can't deny that.
To sum up, the sound of the album is very 2009 dancepop-ish for the first half and that folky sound that was popular back in 2008 for the second half. That's why I love this album, it brings me back to when music was great, I feel like this is how it would've sounded like if Hil was to put it out at that time, right after Dignity...It has a very feel-good vibe to it and the lyrics are written in a very beautiful way!

Lies is such a stab in the heart for Mike lolol but it's so goood. Omg i honestly wasnt expecting her album to be this GREAT.
1. Tattoo didnt really surprise me tbvh. I love how light and simple it is tho but I kinda expected smth more since it's by Ed.

cringe at the "we need to breakup" line (so Metamorphosis-ish)
4. Confetti reminds me alot of Ariana's Break Free (but i'm in love with the Belinda sample)

My Kind left me bald. Easily the best song on the album. That & the 2 Matthew Koma penned tracks make a great trinity. Hilary made a great decision by working with him.
