I wouldn't say she copied Gaga per se but the whole
Bionic era was poorly executed. If songs like "Dirrty" flopped when she was at her peak, what made her/her team think that "Not Myself Tonight" was going to be successful? ****ty, outright seductive songs don't work for her as singles, they just don't. On top of that, there were better options for a first single instead of "Not Myself Tonight." It as a mess of an era.

She always re-invents her style and her music to the absolute extreme. She went from the Britney that could sing with her first album to the female P!nk with her second album to the Marilyn Monroe wannabe with the throwback music on her third album to the ectronic artist with
Bionic.
