Christina : I started stanning for her after the ANOM video came out. The single missed the top 5, the album sold 1/3 of what Stripped did and the next 2 singles underperformed in the US

Mariah : I started stanning for her right before Memoirs cause I listened to her discography. Then, Memoirs happened

Ciara : I started stanning after LSM and that's her last top 10 hit and global hit to this day

Rihanna : I started stanning during Rated R, which is her second worst era after MOTS The ONLY song I didn't like on the album was Rude Boy and that was the era's only legit smash hit Then, I stopped stanning for a while and went back to stanning after 45S and then the R8 mess happened

I don't even want to say when I started stanning for Aaliyah, cause gurl

I just hope my curse doesn't affect Tinashe

But literally every song I said should make the top 10, didn't in Fefes rate. There was a point where she would hint a song and I'd say it better not be 'x' and it would end up being 'x' . I knocked out 3 consecutive songs like that

Ugh like I'm so proud of how the bridge in my song leads to my chorus and it just makes my last chorus feel that much more powerful than the other two. I'm rly proud of that.

After this last round, I just felt so defeated creatively, like I felt that no matter what I did, it wouldn't be received well, so that kinda came out in one of the lines.

But that was literally like when I just started writing, it quickly turned into me putting myself in Christina's shoes (or at least trying) and coming out with something that is on a personal level close to To You
