Sorry Ramos, no one takes Gaga seriously as an artist anymore (nor should they). Not that they ever really did, but at least once upon a time they thought she was good at making pop music.
Now she is sometimes praised for her singing. That's it.
Gaga is the most acclaimed artist of her generation, you just need to look at every comment after her Oscar performance to notice (just pay no mind to that angry black woman that was literally the only one not here for her performance).
Gaga is one of the most respected artists of her generation, sorry Nicole, it's true.
Her music might not be super respected, but she as an artist is pretty much as high as one can get in the music industry as far as praise and respect. Literally every legend has just nice and great things to say about her.
