"Obsessed" News Tidbits
• "Obsessed" has reached the 1000 spins mark in less than a week! Following are the airplay numbers as of 6/21/2009 according to Mediabase: 9.186 million in audience impressions with 1003 spins (Rhythmic - 393, Urban - 345, Pop - 226, Urban A/C - 27, Hot A/C - 11, Rock - 1). • Here's how "Obsessed" is faring on the Billboard charts before recurrents are removed with 3 days left: Hot 100 Airplay - #148 (+6.3 million), R&B Airplay - #72. Final Billboard charts will be published later this week.
• The "Obsessed" Remix featuring Gucci Mane is now being streamed at the official Mariah Carey site,

• Since its premiere on Chicago's
B96 last Tuesday, "Obsessed" has been one of the most requested songs on the station's Top 9@9. Wednesday it was at #4, Thursday #5 and back to #4 on Friday.

• "Obsessed" was heard today on satellite radio XM 68.
• In Charlotte, NC, "Obsessed" won for two nights in a row on 96.1 The Beat's "Battle of the Beats." On Friday, they had a new challenger to previous night's winner, "Obsessed." Nearly all the votes were for Mariah.
• On
Australia's biggest Radio Request Show
Hot 30 Countdown, Mariah's "Obsessed" went head-to-head with Eminem's new song "Beautiful." Listeners were asked to call and vote for which song they liked more. Mariah being the carry-over champ, for the past 3 nights, won by 82% of the votes against the Eminem song. The hosts were full of praise for the song. Meanwhile, "Obsessed" has also been playing in Perth on
92.9 (It won a contest between Mariah and Akon and Mariah got the most votes!) and in Melbourne on
101.9 Fox FM.
• "Obsessed" premiered today in
Holland on Music Station Radio 538 on the show JuizeFM (which also was the first show to premiere "It's Like That" and "Touch My Body"). Dutch fans can request the song at

Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, though no tracklisting included, is now available for pre-order for $12.99 at

Memoirs will officially hit stores on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.

In
Japan,
Memoirs is scheduled for release on August 26, 2009. Universal Music-Japan's

• According to Universal Music Indonesia, "Obsessed" will be sent to radio in
Indonesia on June 24, 2009, while the album will be released on August 24, 2009.
