If the movie's interesting, the length shouldn't be a problem, but I do get what you mean, I get like that, it takes quite a bit of effort.

Like Lord of the Rings is like 5 hours long yet I'm hooked for all those hours

Ugh me too. I can only handle movies that are an hour and a half at most and anything longer than that is a straight up struggle. I remember I was forced into going to see that latest transformers movie and that **** was like 3 hours long. 3. Hours. Long. and of that **** movie too I legit felt like I was gonna meet my death in that theater
