Derrick was a good player, in fact he was
too good. It was like watching a game of Pac-Man where all the ghosts are stuck in the middle, and Pac-Man is just casually going around and eating all the dots. There was no entertainment value, and anytime the slightest problem popped up, he was able to squash it without any effort. I really wish BB had done something to make the game a little more challenging for him, 'cause honestly, everyone else was just laying down for him.
Everything that happened that season (Battle of the Block, Team America, a dimwitted cast that jumped into a 9-person alliance) seemed to benefit him. There were like, no major hurdles that made his game especially impressive.
