It's hard to explain.. Sometimes you just have such a strong bond with someone & it's hard to just throw it all away. Now if it's a constant thing, then you need to let go but sometimes it's worth fighting for.

I wasn't comparing them musically, I was comparing their commercial success. Both Flo Rida and Jason have consistently seen single success but neither can sell albums. In that regard, they're in the same boat.
