I've been saying I want to write a rap song since like Round 3 tho. I've just never found the opportunity (almost did in the labels challenge, but didn't want to write a male rap, almost did in the free zone, but went with my sail song and that worked out well etc.), but I saw MBDTF and saw it wasn't taken so why not? I feel better about this one than I do the other male rap brief. I think I can do it justice. I hope.

This is kinda impossible tbh. Maybe I should include a female rap feature? That would be edgy and v different. I think I could pull it off tbh. But maybe it'd be seen as too much of a Monster clone. (But obviously 10x worse)

Honestly I already have a pretty good idea of what I want my song to be about but I'm just gonna listen to MBDTF one more time in order to make 100% sure that it not only fits the brief, but isn't a rip off of another song. I don't think it is tho.

My first rap song was v bad tho. Like it was a laughable mess. My second one was better tho. I think if I go down the more serious route it should work out better than if I go down the "ooh I'm a bad bitch gonna cut a hoe" route.

As for "underrated", she's underrating herself. Kim should be on a Missy Elliott level now ; comfortably retired, making a few rare appearances and promising a comeback once in a while just for nothing to materialize. That's how legends do it.
