Maybe controversial isn't the right word, but police brutality and race relations is a topic that many celebrities, Black and White, avoid like the plague. Especially when you compare it to, say, trans rights and Caitlyn Jenner.

The white college students who had that pumpkin fest where they tore down a neighborhood did not get nearly as much from police officers. Granted they were in two locations, all of it is the same. Just call it how it is. Children will be children, especially on a weekend during summer break, but policemen should know when it goes too far.
