Rihanna stopped by Saturday Night Live again to perform her latest single "Side Effects", as well as her previous single "Black Butterflies". The producers of SNL invited her back just after a week, it seems like they really do enjoy her there!

Rihanna performed a upbeat version of "Side Effects" with black hair and a team of African inspired dancers on an African inspired set. The high energy performance was executed well.



She also performed the acoustic version of Black Butterflies wearing a simple black dress.

Ship In A Bottle : This was definitely a good storytelling song! It's not your best entry, but it does stand out well enough among the other songs in this round just for the fact it manages to develop a story. The "flowers" line was not my favorite, but other than that, the execution was good!

The first verse is your worst work in the competition, it sounds plain, pedestrian, poorly written and the rhyming and stressing could have been better

I wasn't born with the natural born ability to write a deep, thought-provoking story with flawless meter and stress, brilliant word play and rhyme choices, with a message that hasn't been explored before, all in less than a week.

This week was the hardest I tried on a song and I really thought I did well, but if I have ever done better I'd love to know. Like idk maybe "To You..." was better, but I didn't have to tell a story with that song.

Better doesn't mean perfect. Although I get what you mean, and I totally would've flopped in this round because storytelling is noT my forte
