So, I was listening to my ipod on shuffle, something I almost never do, and never really thought about how random shuffle really is.
Like, just now I hit shuffle and my first 5 songs are:
1) Majid Jordan - The Law (Part 1)
2) X - Unheard Music
3) Nelly - Heaven
4) EXO - Call Me Baby
5) Django Django - High Moon
It doesn't help that I put a bunch of new music on because I deleted my iTunes library on accident, but still... how is shuffle not the most jarring listening experience?

People keep saying "everyone hated their song" but I've seen more people say that they liked their song than people who didn't. I'm probably gonna be eliminated and that's what's interesting.
So like I feel it starts off strong and just progressively gets worse tbh. It starts off really metaphorical, then it gets a bit more literal and finally the third verse is essentially all just literal language with one metaphorical line, and then the outro turns it from a "I'm in love with someone who doesn't know who I am" song into a "You can be whatever you want to be" empowerment anthem, which I guess both are very real to me, but it's kind of a messy transition tbh.
