Listening to Teenage Dream again and it's such a euphoric ANTHEM I don't think any other pop girl could ever. We Found Love is the only thing that comes close
Taylor will reach her true potential whenever she finally takes a break from the scene and writes for other people. This is the route she wants to go instead of performing till her olden days, right? At least, I remember a Disciple saying this before.
I think she wants a nice long career first, where she can truly establish herself as a legend. Then she'll go the carole king route.
I don't think she'll leave till like 2035 tho at earliest (when she's mariah's age).
And I'm talking about revered classics. The idea of Taylor as this generation defining songwriter hits a brick wall when all her well known songs might as well be Katy Perry songs.
Well, there's a reason people spend more than $1.29 on Lord her records. Her albums are classics.
She has the most smashes that's for sure, definitely.
But not the biggest, RITD, CMM and TT are the trinity tbh. Firework will probably snatch CMM soon though.
Out of the pop girls, she DOES have the biggest smashes.
Which other pop girl has five(maybe four, either way HNC is at 9M+) ten million selling singles globally?
Who cares about Metacritic scores? I'd rather listen to an album myself to decide if it's good or not than listen to other people and their subjective opinions about music Teenage Dream is an amazing album and the gerls can stay bothered
