I thought Which Witch was super overrated but the past few days it's been giving me LIFE!
I think the lyrics at the end of Which Witch are:
Chained and shackled oh,
All unraveled oh.

Instead of "All that gravel" like I've been reading.
Also I think in VS&S it might be "Uncurling like flowers" and not "uncurling lifelines."

Third Eye (Demo) is trash.

Pure Feeling slays so much.

NLMG was the BEST song on Ceremonials. But Conductor is nowhere near the quality of such a flawless song. And why does VSAS sound like a Evanescence song?

Yeah, Conductor is not on the emotional level of NLMG, but I really don't think she will ever top that song. It is her magnum opus.

However, Conductor is gorgeous. It easily has one of her best choruses ever. It is so melodic, just magnificent. That, PF, and AFAICG really fit the album well and should have been the three main bonus tracks. WW should have been the vinyl exclusive, and H and MUYM should have been the target exclusives, since those three are all the super outliers that don't fit the album (at least sonically). Not to say I don't like them; I either energy or love all six bonus tracks.

Sad we won't ever hear Made Of Stone and Tantalus though ;P

From Which Witch I absolutely love all the lines that start with "and it's my own heart" especially the verse where she says "all tried and tested, it's mine."
From VS&S I love the chorus.

I think the best piece of lyrics she has ever written is the refrain from SJ:

"And I'm learning, so I'm leaving, and even though I'm grieving, I'm trying to find the meaning. Let loss reveal it."

The flow, the melody, the depth. It is fantastic.

Third Eye's verses are my second favorite, and it also contains the one line that best and most simply sums up the whole album: "I am the same, I'm the same, I'm trying to change."

I know Ceremonials is my favorite album, that's a give in. I really can't rank HBHBHB or L higher than the other. They entirely different albums.

I guess if I HAD to, it'd be C > L > HBHBHB
I LOVE HBHBHB though, there's no question. It's a matter of preference, but I think it's still better than all our other fave's, and if HBHBHB is florence's "worst" album, then she's doing something VERY right

I JUST CAME BACK FROM GOVERNORS BALL AND FLORENCE WAS AMAZING. Drake was the headliner of the night, and he was right before Florence, so most people were waiting for him and bashing her originally. But once she performed, literally EVERYONE was jamming. And people legitimately went crazy during the final song, which was DDAO. She was able to run and jump just like her Coachella performance and easily topped Drake for me! I even had an emotional connection when she performed HBHBHB (it's personal to me). It was amazing. Can't wait till she's back in NY.
