What if you didn't know your family was there? Like, if they were hiding behind trash cans or in a dark corner of the room, then came out after you said yes/no. Would you be upset that your partner didn't tell you?
yes because I'd be uncomfortable knowing people were listening to what I was saying when I didn't know they were there
