Downpour wasn't all that bad tbh.

But I was excited for Silent Hills, it would have made up for that god awful movie sequel they made. Hopefully they pick it back up sometime in the future.

Silent Hills had a DREAM team and Konami cancelled it because they fired the director of the game (the man that has made all of the Metal Gear Solid games and the reason Konami is still successful) and want to actively piss off as many people as possible.

Downpour completely lacked the mystery and psychological horror ellement of the previous games. It's only redeeming moments were the easter eggs. It was honestly a cheap attempt to recreate Silent hill 2.
