From her X factor intro video to asking TV presenters to introduce her as "the highest selling female artist of all time". She is so obsessed with charts and success. Kii at it ending up in Vegas unable to push 300k worldwide with an album.

It's pretty obvious in the article they weren't saying she was the #1 female as in hits that year. "Loverboy" was her only song released, the album had not been released, and the song was like 2 weeks old. So obviously she couldn't have been the #1 female that year with just 1 two week old song.

They were moreso likely talking about #1 competitor, which it seemed she was before the era bombed. She'd gotten into the most expensive record contract ever with them. Ofcourse she was the #1 female in that standard. She was the top bitch.

Okay, that's her team you need to be mad at.

Mariah doesn't sit at the computer Google'ing how much records she's sold. That's all her team's part. And ofcourse, she's not gonna say 'Don't say I sold that much, I didn't'. What artist actually would do that?

She sort of survived lethargic dancing, shameles miming and total lack of engagement with her fans and career. But following up Britney Jean (possibly the worst album ever from an iconic pop star) with THIS? Career = over. At least it's better than Run the World.

Yes, I am honestly also shocked this level of Garbage was released by Britney. Usually I struggled to find just 1 song on her albums that I wasn't crazy about up until 2013. Since then it's been just one trainwreck after another. I'd honestly go into full blown Nostalgia mode if it wasn't for Toms Diner. Bless Giorgio
