Hidden Immunity Idol
What is a hidden immunity idol?
Hidden Immunity Idols are an element to Survivor that has been present for awhile. An idol is hidden somewhere on the island and the castaways get a clue as to where it is and search for it. Once it is found, it can be used to keep a player safe in the game if played correctly.
Hidden Immunity Idols are played
before a Tribal Council vote reveal. Once played, it erases all votes for the castaway playing it (if any).
So for example... let's pretend myself, Ethan, Yvess, Superiore, & DOMINO were the remaining 5 on a tribe and it was an alliance of Ethan & I vs. an alliance of Yvess, Superiore, & DOMINO. Ethan has the immunity idol. At the tribal council, Ethan & I vote for Superiore. Yvess, Superiore & DOMINO vote for Ethan
Ethan plays his idol. The three votes for Ethan no longer count therefore Superiore is eliminated with two votes.
How will it work in this game?
I have "hid" the idol in this thread between this very post and post #1100.
The person who lands a post on the chosen spot (which is messaged to Superiore for proof) will be PMed by myself and given the Hidden Immunity Idol to use on their own time. I will not reveal who has it so if post #1100 passes by and you have not received a PM, you did not find it. The idol expires after the Top 5 Tribal Council so you have plenty of time to put it to use.
To whoever finds the idol, it must be played
before a tribal Council. You cannot be eliminated then use your idol to come back. In that case, the idol would just be flushed out of the competition.
As for your guys' job, I'm sure there will be a bit of excess posting right now to claim that spot. Just keep it to a certain degree of realism so we're not just posting smilies. The idol could very well be in the next four posts and it could very well be post #1100. You guys won't know unless you land on the right spot.
If a judge or non-player lands on the spot by accident, it will be given to the castaway on the next post. Also please don't double post or you will not receive the idol. It will be given to the player who posts after you instead.
