I definitely understand and I feel like when they cancel at the last minute, it just drives the hype even further through the roof. I am kinda excite to see what's the next method to combat the bots.

Honestly, I don't see much they can do unless they really come up with some innovative ****. I was looking at the code for the SNKRS app and I don't even code much but I instantly found loopholes. They need to think hard.
