That's great they were chill. My year group could be pretty homophobic so it was hard for the gheys. They would use "gay" as an insult so no one came out until sixth form (the school had a college within the school). I owned it throughout as I stanned Beyonce/Janet/Mariah and I was LOUD about my love for them.
