I’m listening to the #1-I’ve been meaning to- and it’s really good. I could why Luke kicked the dust off of almost everyone. He’s up there for sure. Yes! The Remix is here! Let’s face it, it went #1 on the Hot 100 because of the contribution of K-Dot! I have been enjoying Yelawolf’s music this year. I haven’t listen to all of them, but the ones I heard are good. I listened to Devil in my Veins and it’s not only completely different from his typical musical sound, but also kinda different from the music he released this year. Still, he focusing on his musical roots of his home place.

Bang That Lock & Load like we’re making love. I guess I gotta stop complaining about ATRL. I am from 2009-2010 era where stan wars became the main thing since TRL had ended so I kinda justified, but still. Besides, Ciara doing well for herself. Too bad the haters just pretends to ignore it. Bitch, betta have my R8 so I can give her money. Hopefully not a Tidal exclusive. Azealia finally debuting. She is also doing well for herself. Glad you liked the de facto number one this week. He'll be kicking up some serious dust in the next update Flame. Thank you though. His reception has been mixed, but it might be my favorite Luke single yet.

What was it like here when you first joined? I took a look at an old YTT thread or two for fun the other day and the commenting style seems to have changed from a couple years ago. I've always been curious if things are getting friendlier or if it's fallen off a cliff. At least no matter how shady maintl will get YTT will always be here

Chart Notes: It's been an annoying week. I've been pretty burnt out to tell the truth. Commuting to school, work, homework, projects, papers, still kind of recovering from being sick a couple weeks ago. I am tired. Luckily finals are right around the corner and I can have a bit of a breather. Anyway, I'm ok with where I am if not worn down; but I'm working on it all and pretty happy with where I am overall, better busy than not. Unintentionally (maybe subconsciously), there does seem to be mostly a mix of triumph and gloom (sometimes mixed within the same song). High debuts from Big Sean and Drake further add to this dominant mood. But Jhene Aiko's debuting song probably does the best job of currently summing up my mindset.

Notably, Britney Spears the former 3 week number one suffers from this chart's three week curse (no song, no matter how established, seems to fall severely after the three week mark). Luke Bryan, the owner of the new number one is still raking in a massive amount of plays and his singles (especially his lead singles) still get regular play so it is likely that he will settle in as a number one for at least another week or two (or maybe three )I was a huge fan of That's My Kind of Night (the song that got me into him) so we'll see how Kick The Dust Up does (I think I may like it more). In fact I like Luke's song so much and it's been taking in such high play counts that it's already my 15th most played so and could threaten Rihannas FourFiveSeconds as my most played when all is said and done. Also, this week sees another expansion of my chart to a top 20. I've been playing a lot of individual songs so I want the chart to reflect that; I figure this chart and the amount of positions on it can ebb and flow with time and adjust with my listening habits.

On the album chart, I have a couple interesting albums. I got into Meat Loaf's album this week thanks to Celebrate. It's pretty awesome; I've been missing out. That album tops the chart despite having the least amount of plays because it got a couple of non-scrobbleable plays from outside last.fm (which seems to be glitching and adding weird plays?) In a number two position is Craig David, an artist I am now just getting into thanks to Amaloner. He's awesome (probably should be higher and seems to have some weird scrobbles.
Also charting is Calvin Harris's best album (fight me if you disagree) Ready For The Weekend because at heart, we're all ready for the weekend, and Justin Timberlake's Complete 20/20 Experience. I got #nostalgia since I am coming up on my one year anniversary on here and my first post is from a thread where I defended Justin Timberlake and he was in my very first avatar.

In atrl news to celebrate my one year, I was wearing a picture of myself as a primary avatar for a couple days but that is gone now Also, I continue to hang on in I Love Money by the grace of GotSkill so thanks for that one. I also am starting survivor again to redeem myself (along with YTTs very own Flame Beat!) and there might be some survivor songs charting here in the recurrents in the near future. Hopefully I can redeem myself, my elimination was a mess last season the result of getting sick in real life and taking a break from here for a good month; discontinuing my request countdown for an even longer period of time and this chart also. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself! Anyway, thanks everyone for making this an awesome first year everyone reading (the official anniversary is the 8th) and to everyone that has stopped commenting (you are missed) expect some type of event for the one year anniversary of this chart in July.

Oh, yeah. Last week was the pits because of Google blacklisting ATRL because our crappy ad provider contains some ads that have malware and basically, the warnings just popped up every thread we go. Looks like ATRL is not blacklisted anymore. But I still want to know the exact details of the situation. I hope Athens makes announcement about this ordeal. Might as well comment on your feedback of my comment. Whoops. I mistaken Luke as the #1 last week. I didn’t look up to see the real and horrible #1. I wasn’t the only one tho. Nothing, but the truth I said about Bad Blood and King Kendrick. Yelawolf is cool.

What was it like in YTT in 2009? Well, it’s was more active than is now. Daily countdowns used to be a thing, but given that people are busy and YTT is not that much active during the week as of now, not that much anymore. I remember some members were being funny with countdown interactions such as Billie Joe, mariah_4Life, and JiMmyxcoRe (don’t know if it’s stylized like that but whatever). I miss them. Tho, people were posting generic comments such as “7/15” and “Fallin For You :heart:.” That still happens today, but not that much. It seems some YTTers like to interaction with each other more. The ancient YTT seems a bit different than my time and this time if you look back those threads.

Overall, YTT always been fine. I wonder what was it like in 2011 and the first half of 2012 since I was inactive during that time. I guess the downside is that it’s not as active as years before. MainTRL can try to shade YTT and want it removed, but it will always be here. It’s one of the oldest sections ever along with the Lounge. Show some respect. My commenting style was way different in 2009. My comments during that time were very generic. I just say either what I liked and haven’t heard along with posting smiles. I once posted just the rate. In 2010, I changed it up a bit. I typed the rate, what did I like or what was my favorite song along using smiles in a funny way and say they had a nice/good/great c/d. Of course, from 2012-now, I no longer rate or post smiles, I type in paragraphs, puns, and anything else funny. Even essays like this. My commenting style sure has evolved. That’s why I was the Best Countdown Commenter in the YTT awards last year.

This is a long ass post. My name is in the thread title of the week! Glad that Luke is the #1 for real this week but will there be bad blood between Luke and Taylor.
