NE ways, to start off my lil date story I should mention that where I live (Utah) basically half the people here are mormon and the other half are former mormons. Me and this guy both fit into the latter categorie. So I drove over to see him from my grandma's house and RIGHT when I pulled in his family got home from church (he's 19 but living at home for the summer). So that was kinda awkard that they walked in right when I got there. Fortunately they didn't seem to scared that there was a guy there with him so they seem cool. But within like 5 minutes we left with our guitars and just drove to a park nearby. Then he took me over to a willow tree and we just sat down and started playing our songs for each other, since we're both songwriters and write in generally the same style.That was at about noon. I sung literally EVERY single good song I've ever written to him, and he did the same to me. We talked a lot too, about religion and concerts and life.
One crazy thing we figure out is that we had actually been within like 20 feet of each other 6 months before. He told me that in September his friend had bought tickets to see Katy Perry in Denver but that she couldn't find anyone that wanted to drive the 500 miles between here and Denver so he just went with her and she paid. And I was at that same concert because I lived in Colorado at the time. And we were both on the floor, in generally the same area and lsasdsa its just crazy. He also told me that although he isn't really into pop girls Katy is his favorite. Then finally we looked at my phone and the time was 7:00
I seriously don't know how it was possible. We literally sat under a tree, didn't stand up or anything, and just talked and sang for 7 hours. And there wasn't a single moment of silence or anything. I really really like this guy. We're going to a concert together on Thursday but he said he wants to see me sooner and I do too
that was probably really anticlimatic but it was perfect for me
