Golden has been perched here since the beginning, proofreading some of your songs, offering feedback and dragging all of you with little to no effort!
For the live shows, I thought it would be interesting to get his perspective on which entries were the weakest and most disappointing of the week. I was very curious to see if he would agree with the judges and if his least favorites would actually be the soon to be eliminated entries... Representing the competition's GP audience and all unapologetic bitches worldwide, I present to you...
THE GOLDEN LASHINGS

Please stop. I can't take your rap song or whatever seriously. I just cannot. That was really awkward and cringeworthy to read. I can appreciate that you are trying to do something else than just writing a song with its respective verses, chorus & bridge, but this was genuinely just horrendous.
I can be your HOV if you’ll be my Queen B
So come get it, you know I’ll give you that D
Really, bitch? A catastrophe.

Where do I start?
The verses with the length of Bionic's chart-run?
Or the rather depressing chorus?
Is this song about regret or the end of the world?
It's like you didn't even try.
Surgeon just cut it, and let it bleed
I honestly don’t care, what happens to me
As long as you let it fall right out
What the hell?
A pregnancy gone wrong tea.

All I gotta say is your song made me want to eat chicken tenders & karma is a bitch. Flop bitch.
But in all seriousness, this song was really bad. (Maybe that's why I imagine Lorde singing it..)
The verses are way too short. The pre-chorus has no added value. The bridge goes from one place to another. I feel like you put way too much focus on your bridge and neglected your verses and chorus. Whether keeping the verses and chorus short and putting more focus on the bridge was intentional or not, it really ruined the dynamic of the song for me.
At the end of the day, you are a fantastic songwriter. I have no doubt that you're in a small slump & you'll get back on track.
