Many of the cast members are saying the final episode will break the internet and and it will be bigger than The Red Wedding

According to me, there are only 2 things which could turn out to be bigger than The Red Wedding

1. The revelation of LSH which is very highly unlikely at this point

2. The revelation of R + L = J which I don't think will happen in this season. I guess that the episode in which this will be revealed will be named a Song of Ice and Fire

What could be other things which could be bigger than The Red Wedding

She may not be extremely important in the grand scheme of things, meaning the end of the book can be achieved without exploring her character, that may very well be true.

But her character IS an extremely big part of the books, not only before her death but afterwards, the fates of Brienne and Jaime, two huge POV characters are closely intertwined and dependant on her presence. Her actions move the plot forward when it comes to Brienne who has been wasted for the better part of this season rotting in a hostal with Pod, and Jaime who could wind up facing Brienne to death after Lady Stoneheart's orders.

Furthermore, the importance of her character goes BEYOND plot, Lady Stoneheart is a very powerful representation of what the torn world of Westeros and the savagery of the War of the five kings is, she's nothing but vengeance and pain, but she exists because her cause is just, because her vengeance is needed and because ultimately, for the reader who'd otherwise grow to be jaded and disinterested by the villain always winning, she's a CATHARTIC character, and all of that to me is reason enough to include her in the show.

If they have a problem with her origins being that of a vengeful zombie, be creative, use some agency and flesh her actions a bit more, the show has room for this character to be explored and developed richly.

TRUST ME, skipping a few rape scenes in order to squeeze some LSH would do this trash some good, in spite of what the disgusting mysoginistic writers seem to think.

Unless whatever is supposed to "break the internet" is something that just the show added, I can't imagine what it is tbh. I don't think there was anything in the books up to where the story currently is that is as shocking as the Red Wedding, at least for me.

By "Break the Internet" they probably mean the assasination of Jon Snow. Killing him off will piss A LOT of people off. Plus the last scene of the season is confirmed to be scripted straight from the books, so I very well imagine it will be a pan out of his bleeding body lying dead.

There isn't, really... Unless there will be a combination of events happening that will add up to make it a monumental episode. I could see that happening, tbh.

Cersei's walk of atonement.
Jon Snow stabbed by the Night's Watch.
Sansa killing Ramsay Bolton.
Khaleesi flying off on Drogon.
Arya doing some ****.
Stannis either sacrificing his daughter, killing Melisandre, or dying in battle.

Margaery, Loras, Tommen, Myrcella all have targets on their backs as well. Will they survive the season?

Feeling like this season will be going out with a BANG.

He survives the attack. His is the song of ice and fire, he can't just die at this point.

I think the very last scene will either be Khaleesi flying off on Drogon, or Jon Snow bleeding and left for dead. Both would be intense cliffhangers.

Well, that's a hypothesis -albeit a most likely accurate one- he is very much dead as far as we have read the books.

Regardless, I'm sure the actor meant it'd break the internet regarding non-book readers.

Honestly I'm hoping, as I've hoped for the last two seasons, it's the reveal of LSH.

Honestly, it's this kind of behavior (not just here but all over the internet - it's not that bad here) that makes me happy the series will tell the ending before the books and GRRM will probably never finish the series.
