Wow. Yesterday, when I clicked post reply to that thread about the malware, I had gotten the code red of death. I was taken back a bit. I did notice that it was different from beginning of the year when I first got it. The one I got from the start of the year blocked me from redirecting to that damn adobe site where it automatically downloads something into my computer, which happened to me back in October when I was still using the desktop PC (Now, I have my own laptop). Now, the one we all getting is just warning us that ATRL is an unsafe site. I didn’t bother to come back until later on and the warnings are still here. The warming pops up every damn time I click on a thread. It does not pop up when I click on the sections. I had to find out more about the issue by caching ATRL.
Basically, Google blacklisted ATRL because the crappy ad provider had sites that contain malware. I guess we stuck like this until further notice or what Lee!! just said. At least I learn why we had those strict rules and censorship and other things. ATRL is really the site that keeps on giving. The Over Captivity massacre back in 2013 and now, this. At least ATRL is safe as long as we don’t get redirect to one of those phishing sites and don’t open whatever that site downloading into our computers. Apparently, the malware had history with ATRL even before 2014 and hell, I wasn’t the only one that got redirected to that adobe site back in October when I was searching and caching ATRL regarding malware. Was certain smiles really removed because they had malware from whatever site it came from?
Thanks to Javan(?) for that helpful advice on bypassing the warnings when on Google Chrome. It’s still slow as molasses. I have to remember to check “Enable phishing and malware protection” when I done with ATRL or when I want to visit another site. Does ignoring the warnings when it pop ups and click on details and click “visit the unsafe site” really improve the performance of ATRL? I pity the mobile users that have to suffer especially having to do some things just to use ATRL. I blame Iggy, Taylor Nation, Natalia Kills and Tidal.
