If you go into Chrome settings and disable 'Enable phishing and malware detection' under Privacy + have Adblock running, you should be fine for browsing ATRL.
I would just reenable that setting once you're done using ATRL, because it's kind of important.

I just clicked "Details" and it had a link where I can visit it despite of the blacklist but it said that it was 'unsafe'.

The security warning only shows if I open another tab and attempt to access the forum again. The tab I bypassed the warning with is working fine now. No way am I disabling the protection, I'll probably forget to enable it again and damage my laptop..

I just disabled it because going through reports is hell without it, but I have the Chrome settings open in a tab and as soon as I finish, I'm reenabling it.
