Taylor chose the hard path and made it that way. In comparison, the likes of Britney and Katy Perry made it the easy way. Let's not even mention Miley Cyrus, who's Dad was a Country Star and was not only rich but had lots of connections in the Music Industry.

I mean it's good that people do love that but it does nothing for me - there's nothing too her! What is fascinating for people about her music and image? Gaga is always serving really stylised, futuristic and conceptual performances, Katy's is OTT and fun, Rih well... I don't know ha, and Bey is sure to be flaunting what she's got and looking sexy. God knows what people use with Taylor.

How is this ****ing thread still going? Being a pop star is NOT a hard job, and anyone who thinks it is needs a huge ****ing reality check. I don't care how much Beyoncé is in the studio or how much Gaga rehearses or how much Katy does whatever she does. They're incredibly privileged to be doing any of that (which they enjoy) in exchange for millions of dollars.

And fyi, it truly doesn't matter how much your fave struggled to become famous. They chose to pursue stardom. They inflicted that "struggle" upon themselves.

Every American Idol and X-Factor type show has literally tens of thousands of people all auditioning for a chance to be a pop star. All these people know that being a pop star will be an easier situation for them than whatever they are currently doing and are willing to attempt to make the trade. Strangely enough, when jobs in the mines are advertised or other jobs that are actually hard you don't get tens of thousands of applicants for a single position.

Some folks in this thread need a reality check about what is a hard job and what isn't.
