Er…. it isn't exactly "in a short time," and second of all, I'd hesitate to say
she improved her singing.
Her voice has grown over time, but
she hasn't exactly grown with it. Considering how old she was when she first started singing, it was only natural that her voice would get stronger as she grew older, but she herself, as far as technique anyway, hasn't done the same.
She has a better voice now but she isn't particularly better at using it than she was in the beginning. In fact I'd go as far as saying she was better at using her voice on her first 2 albums than she is now. Her voice may have been nasal and whiny on those albums but she "flexed" it a lot more than she does now.
The dancing/performing is also a whole different story to me.
He was so sure it was gonna be a lead single.
