Mary got her last certified album in 2013 (21 years into her career), Mariah got her latest certified album in 2010 (20 yrs into her career). I feel like Mariah had higher highs, but Mary kinda punched in the longevity department.

Mary going Gold 1 year after doesn't change the fact Mariah's career literally expands back and forth over hers.
But Jennifer Lopez is worth over 300 million dollars. And she didn't have to lie and steal writing credits
and marry an ugly rapper to get there (she did marry an ugly singer at one point, though).
I only know 1 Mary song and that's The One and only because I was watching a youtube video somewhere and there were people dancing to it and it was kinda catchy.
It's not bad. It's just uneventful. It goes nowhere. It's the same chorus after the bridge. I hope they rework the song someday. It's like one of her best melodies ever and is the best live.
