I don't think it's because she is from a rich family. This has nothing to do with that. She is bigger now than from her debut, and this is because of her fans and millions of albums sold. How hard can it be when you are already on top. She is not struggling to gain fans or sell singles/albums, and i think that's what she was alluding to.
The truth in this though Obviously she's had huge success which is impressive but she's never really had to struggle to get signed etc throughout her career like some of the other pop girls since her father bought her a record deal so I can see why she would say something like this. Plus it's not like her performances are that demanding

Sure a lot of pop stars have to do vocal training and coreography. But does it take 8 hours daily? NO.
Some popstars don't even write or produce their songs, they just go to the studio 2-3 weeks and they have a new album (like Rihanna)
Interesting perspective from her. I think she's saying it's a lot of hard work but it doesn't feel pointless or stupid. So it's not emotionally draining or really "hard."
I kinda see her point. It's an easir job than most regular jobs but it's exausting psychologically. She's tough and she's emotionally controlled so it's easier FOR HER. Most girls in the industry are not in control. It's only easy for THE LORD.
Taylor is definitely talented, girl - but you can't deny she had more help than the others getting where she is.
I do honestly think she's put in a lot of effort in sustaining her career. But I just don't think she can fairly say if it's hard to be a pop star because she didn't really have to struggle for it the way the other girls did.

And sure, she didnt struggle to get herself a contract because her parents supported her, but she signed with an indie label and was touring accross hundreds of radio stations to get her music out there. Once you make it, being a pop star probably isn't really hard for anyone inherently. They might work hard, yes, but they also have so many people who take care of the details and assist them along the way. It's not they're coal miners or anything. not the same things yo fave is used to I'm sure. And if she was at least she would have the nerve to write a hit song about it. And by writing I do mean grabbing a pen and a paper or your PC or your phone. Not doodling 5 notes and press send to your producer and take the lyrics credits.
