"An" adjective. But "used" is still pronounced with the "you" sound, regardless.

I know exactly where they are, at my friend's house and she's sleeping. I tried to call my brother to give me a ride but he's an hour away. And I don't have anyone that's working today's number at work so I can't call any of them

I did and then texted her 3 times, I finally called my work after I found the number online so they know why I'm late but I won't be able to get there until someone wakes up
