If Drunk In Love had been the lead single, Chandelier as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th single would've given the album a huge boost.
I've always appreciated and hated urban for playing whatever they want. It gives you a look at what everyone is interested in. But at the same time it messes up whatever plan the artist has. And the era could be front loaded in terms of radio play.
chandelier wouldn't work for bey tho. those lyrics are specifically for sia, tbh. now, if you replace pretty hurts with Standing on the sun......
Pretty Hurts connection to Haunted makes sense but the actual place on the album is so dumb. Pretty Hurts does not make sense as the opener. It's like PH starts and then the actual album starts once the speech from her childhood begins.
