Teen Titans was the absolute best. My friend sounds just like Slade. It's weird
Justice League was also awesome. I couldn't get into Kids Next Door. It was way too American for me. I couldn't identify with any of the characters or the parody

Action cartoons were a slay and a half. Still salty over how it ended, though.
Shows I hated as a kid:
- Teen Titans
- Danny Phantom
- Ben 10
- American Dragon
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
@ literally ALL them being male action cartoons.
Not really Teen Titans was for both genders. And a great portion of the episodes where about raven/starfire and things they went through that girls could relate to more. Avatar can be relate able to either gender along with the original Ben 10.
I'll give you american dragon (whih was horrible) and danny phantom though.
