It's not easy stanning people that'll never release again. They are my #1 faves, too.
They just naturally wanted to take their careers into their own hands and decided to break off. Geri left first, and she admitted that she only wanted to use Spice Girls as a launching pad, and everyone else kinda followed suit. They all had too big of personalities and creative differences to stick around forever. It's quite a shame, because they had a magic to them that has yet to be, and probably never will be, recreated by another girl group.
They all have solid solo work, though!
