MTE. I can see it plummeting once the hype dies down. If you remove the remix, the MV hasn't really made that much of an impact on the original version.

Don't feel like backtracking, but Blessed Space (lord help me for using that user's nickname for the song) was a lot more stable. BB has gotten like only one random light green update since it's been on the decline. The rest have been mostly red with random whites. It's sales aren't stable at all and I really just can't get into the remix. I don't see it being at #1 besides this week because of the streams

The remix sales are mostly fueled by her fans. Once that wears off the song will like hover in the top 10 for another month or so before it descends Swiftly down the charts.

Don't forget that sales of 1989 have doubled compared to the previous week. Obviously a lot of people are buying the album cos it contains Bad Blood.

Why would people be buying the original version when they can buy the “number one” remix version (which was used in the video) instead?

In Australia the original shot to the top 10 because the remix wasn’t available on iTunes and since then the remix is at #1 and the original is in the twentys, makes perfect sense
