Leaks affect sales and that's a fact, look at Marina and Madonna. Everyone who's not a fan and could be interested in buying just downloads the mp3 and doesn't buy the album. Also, 5 years ago no one would have asked for a leak and we all lived without it, what's the problem now?

Not really.

Marina wasn't going to sell loads, she had no big single. Madonna has been in the game for ages, she was bound to decline especially without the Superbowl. People illegally download albums nowerdays, no matter what, you can't stop.

And, lies. People did ask for leaks in 2010, people have been talking about leaks since bloody 2005 at the latest. Leaks are going to happen, simple as. I'm gonna buy the album via a damn import from the US, i'm not going to wait all that damn time to listen to an album when I could download a leak for a week and delete it once I have the album in my hands.

2)Madonna's album leaked months before.
3)People who aren't fans don't look for leaks
4)People who don't want to buy it will illegally download it a week later=same outcome

I am not saying I want a leak but it will not do any damage to the sales.

Look, I'm not saying it ruins albums it's just not good. And it's also disrespectful towards the artists who have worked their ass off. If you're a true fan you shouldn't ask or look for leaks. But everyone enjoys music in a different way I suppose. Now I'm going to listen to Lungs and Ceremonials to prepare my soul

I don't want to fight either, I just think leaks are still a problem. You have a different opinion and it's fine. I pre-ordered the deluxe with the screen print and the broken bone t-shirt, can't wait!!
