The difference now is that juries rank countries from 1-27 instead of just giving their top 10. That means that any and all juries that don't want Russia to win for political reasons (I checked last year's voting, and quite a few of their neighbors didn't rate Russia high in the jury vote) can effectively kill it by ranking it low.

I always say that, when Russia, Greece or Azerbaijan send decent songs, they're most likely to win or finish in top3. Russia can always count on public votes, there's no way she'll finish below top5, probably top3. I feel like jury might hurt Polina's chances to win, but top3 seems 99 percent possible.
