I really think the album is still coming in September. It's been reported on numerous occasions. I think we will find out the name of the first single next week. It might be "Mind Control".

Christina Aguilera is determined to sound different in her next album and she's inviting many collaborators to achieve an edgy sound.

It's no secret that pop-star Christina Aguilera loves to reinvent herself with each album. After her 'Genie in a Bottle' days, the singer came back with assless chaps in her second album 'Stripped' and then 'Back to Basics' showed her love for all things '40s.
Now, the singer has enlisted punk rockers Le Tigre to help her achieve a super cool sound, according to Perez Hilton. Also as we previously reported, Christina has also been working hard with dance-queen Ladytron in the studio.

Xtina is really using her fame to get a unique album.. everyone says she's copycat.. but actually this album shaping up to be the most unique one of known artist in a long time..
she actually teamed up with underdogs, which is pretty cool..

well said. But she has always said she will never work with popular producers, hence why she didnt want to work with Danja, Timbaland, Bloodshy and Avant, Red One, Darkchild, Akon for Back to basics, she decided to work with DJ Premier and Linda Perry. Most people dont even know who DJ Premier was. Thats why i love my girl, she never wants to follow the trend, but create it instead. And i think thats what separates her from Britney, Beyonce and others. They jump on whatever is popular at the moment. Not Christina tho.

Oh, sure. Hence why Britney Hot 100 #1 Womanizer was produced by nobodies called The Outsyders.  Not to mention Danja was just Timbaland's employee before Gimme More. Bloodshy & Avant? LOL, they have Britney to thank for their career. Ask Madonna on that.
Almost forgot: DJ Premier is far from unknown, but maybe it was different for Aggie. Linda Perry, however... LMFAO. Are you for real? For what matters, Pink worked and brought her her back to the spotlight BEFORE Aguilera.

why do you feel the need to dispute everything that i say? Are you that bothered by my statements? Or are you that insecure with your idol that you cant take a slight criticism about Britney? its basically just electro pop and thats nothing new as far as mainstream pop goes.
she may be working with underground "edgy" artists but this wont be anything groundbreaking, she is just falling into the same category britney, madonna and now gaga have been in for ages.
