WATCH The Americans. I finally dropped Bored of Thrones and watched this instead. 1981. In the suburbs of Washington, DC, we meet a perfect American family. Husband, wife, two kids. Except they're not actually American. They're Russian spies, trained from childhood to pose as Americans. They will do anything to serve Mother Russia -- spy, kill, cheat, **** -- anything and everything. The wife is especially ruthless. Their marriage (or is it "marriage"?...that is the big question) is the greatest thing you will see on TV.
