That's why both Jay and Hugh could still see it even when it was given to someone else. It's targeting who "contracted" it last. Greg did pass it onto a girl after Jay gave it to him, but it probably killed her quite quickly because he didn't warn her about it. So once it got her, it came back for Greg. Hugh said in the beginning that it will disguise itself as people you know to get closer to you, so it's not surprising it disguised itself as his mom. Greg would be more likely to let his mom in his room than some random person.

Thanks for that. Do you think she slept with one of those guys on that yacht? It looked like she did, but in the next scene in her bedroom she talks like she did not. I think she did and the guy died pretty quickly cause he was not warned. Or maybe she got there and it was a bunch of gays


I liked It Follows, but I also was expecting a bit more, a Babadook-level movie.

Just watched The Den, it was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely loved everything about it, especially what the end had to say about The Deep Web or whatever it's called. It was so dark and horrifying and heartbreaking. Normally in horror movies I don't care if the main character dies because he/she is usually a dumbass / dumb bitch but I was REALLY rooting for Elizabeth. She was a bad bitch, she made the best possible decision in every case, she did everything she possibly could to survive... Ugh. I was devastated by the end, but I loved it all the same.

Watched Poltergeist 3D last night. It was so much fun! Scary? Eh..it was too fantasy-ish for my taste but I still enjoyed it. The little girl was adorable and the acting was decent. Not worth the 3D price though so I recommend to not waste your money on it. I give it a 7/10

Poltergeist was really good surprisingly, I didn’t expect much but was glad I gave it a chance!! Not necessarily horror but rather suspenseful.

Personally I think she did because she looked DETERMINED when she was taking her clothes off... she had a mad grin on her face. And it showed that she was wet when she was driving back home, so I feel like including that detail was included for a reason: so we assume that she did sleep with one of them. It's no surprise that it came back for her fairly quickly because the guys were no doubt clueless.

Not as gross as the second but a little more than the first. You can't really see anything during the feeding scene but two scenes were pretty gross though short.

I enjoyed it. I get why people would hate it but it was a wonderful tribute to exploitation from the 70's with a really dark, extremely offensive sense of humor.

OMG! Watched the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and holy shitballs!!!

I highly recommend it to all the horror movie buffs. It's so ****ing intense and just plain disturbing.

-terrible
-foreign
-rely on graphic violence
-rely on jump scares
-don't take themselves seriously

Where are the future classics? Where's the new Don't Look Now, Halloween or The Excorcist?

I'm bored, someone recommend me some horror movies that came out in the last 10 years which are actually good. And no Babadook, Drag Me To Hell, Cabin in the Woods or anything that has the word "Saw" or "Hostel".

Justv watched "It Follows". I enjoyed it a lot. I think it's one of the better horror films to come out lately just because it has really cool concept. The acting was great too. The ending was meh.

Following up on your last point, the point of the ending was that no one knows if it was actually "it". It could've been a random person walking behind them, or it could've been "it". The ending was to show the paranoia that Jay and Paul will have to live with for the rest of their lives, not knowing if someone behind them wants to murder them or if they're just another person.

Well, in one shot you can see them waking with no one behind them and then it cuts for like 4 seconds and when it comes back there's IT like limping behind them. It's pretty obvious that that's "It" imo.
