Do people really not get that - both culturally and in terms of raw success - Beyonce is far bigger than most of their faves? 3.6/3.7m albums in 2013-2015 is actually great. The massive tours she went on before and after (especially OTR) were financially bigger together than entire eras from the competition. Everyone knows ST's songs, everyone loves Bey. People who don't are in a pretty small minority. The competition isn't going to pull her numbers this time around - not Gaga, not Rihanna, not Britney, and probably not even Katy. As much as I like all those artists, it's pretty obvious. Y'all don't have a leg to stand on.
Beyonce is so insanely overrated, I blame those Time and Forbes articles her publicist pays for to trick people into thinking she's a big deal, poor Joseph Goebbels tbh.
