I know this was posted already in Base, but how come you guys haven't threaded this data from StubHub? A hit thread in the making for whoever wants one.
Quote:
In anticipation for Taylor Swift’s first U.S. “1989 World Tour” stop on May 20 (Bossier City, LA), StubHub has released these stats:
Taylor Swift’s star isn’t fading anytime soon! She is this year’s TOP selling songstress according to StubHub, ahead of the likes of fairly-newcomer Ariana Grande, country queen Miranda Lambert and pop royalty Madonna and Britney Spears.
Taylor Swift seems to be the hardest working gal in show biz – holding the spot for the #1 selling female singer on StubHub since she first started touring in 2011, outselling Beyoncé in the time since she’s come onto the scene by 60%.
Of the top 10 leadings female singers on StubHub, Taylor Swift accounts for 41% of total sales this year and 33% of total sales of our top ten selling songstresses since 2011.
I'll be honest, I could care less about this VEVO record.
I know what you're saying . Taylor has so many other accomplishments in her career, that this is only a minor one. Still it shows that the Bad Blood MV and launch strategy had a great impact. No-one can argue otherwise now or dispute that she is now a new Queen of youtube.
