1. I know. I just feel as though Britney made it easier for younger acts like Rihanna, Justin, Ariana, etc to be more than just puppets and have some input in the music that they make, even if it is just cherry picking songs. I could be completely wrong but that's how I see it.

3. Eh.. Whitney's voice made up for her lack of creative control. She was respected.
Britney was generally viewed as an untalented pop tart who represented everything that was wrong with pop music. Two different circumstances.
