Ya it's #1 on UK iTunes but it won't go #1 because Spotify streams count a lot in the UK and Europe in general That's the main reason why shake it off did not go #1.

SIO was barely affected by streaming since it was on Spotify for the first few weeks in which it was released anyway, plus it's sales were consistently strong but it never sold enough in a week to justify streaming sending it to #1.

Streaming ****ed BS and especially Style over. Style was top 15 on the sales chart for weeks but only peaked at #21 and fell out of the chart pretty quick. BS peaked at #4 on the official chart but went to #2 on the sales only chart.

Sales/streaming ends on Sunday night.
Radio on Tuesday.

Its position is based on the final hours of Sunday night, after BBMA. And the two days of radio play.

The video wasn't put up until Midnight, so all streams will go towards next week. Plus the full sales and further airplay. Which will roll on Monday/Tuesday, so we'll see how it goes.

but was Shake It Off released immediately for sale when the mv was out or was the mv out for a good few weeks before it was put on sale on itunes uk?

because many times artists release an mv and release a song for sale in the US and hold out on the UK until like a month afterwords. by then the mv streams are already slowed down.
